  5. i thought this presentation was very well made. there were even amounts of talking and visual examples to keep the video entertaining and flowing. although they may have indulged in an unlawful activity, it bettered their presentation in showing us what dub step both looks and sounds like. there is not much to correct or criticise on this video in my opinion and overall it was very enjoyable and informative.

  7. I thought that your documentary was well put together. You had extra detail like the concert video that made the documentary feel more real.I also like the narration that helped the video, by giving real life examples. You had good interviews and followed the rubic unlike other groups

  8. This presentation was well put together. It's the little risks you take that make the video that much more interesting. It didn't seem like you made the whole thing up. What i would have done differently though? I would have tried to interview some big time band or something of that matter. I would have interviewed some of the people who work on the side, like the security, or the people who sell t-shirts. Great job guys.

  11. this video was very well edited and overall choice of videos was excelently done. the video does need a claim though, without a claim the video doesnt have a point of purpose. they need to have a point. The excuse or of advertisement isnt a valid one becasue it is just that an excuse, a reson given in hopes for symypathy.

  13. I thought that this document was very well presented. The claim of being in a band is fun and exciting, was well shown throught the clip. I liked watching the live bands, and hearing the different music types. However, i think that their transitions from interviewing to watching a band could have maybe been a little more suttle and not all of a sudden. But I did like the interviews, because they were very interesting, and informal. These were great evidence and factual information. I am defineitely more interested in music now. Good job!

  14. This video was really good. I liked the info it provided, I also enjoyed the light show they had. The claim was to inform people how to support themselves by the music business. This claim was supported by the people that they interviewed; they were doing gigs that would make them money. The reasoning that also supported the claim was not really presented. This video kept my attention the entire time. The video was funny and good to watch. Great job 

  16. The claim of this documentary was to inform the public of what the music industry is like. Evidence to support this claim was given by the interviews and spoken information provided about the jobs offered and what it takes to be in the music industry. The evidence was logos because it gave statistics and logical information. The documentary itself was well put together with the intermix of interviews, narration, and clips from an actual music event.

  17. besides the fact that this documentary was lacking a claim, this documentary was put together very well. it really showed how the music industry is ran instead of how it is sometimes portrayed.it was also very interesting learning about dubstep, a music genre that is becoming very popular and more and more people are listening to it.

Jamie and Danny did a very good job with their critcal review documentry video. I believe that there was a mass amount of hard work and initive that went into this video. The claim of "to inform people of life in the music industry" was a very good claim. The evidence within the video elborated on it, I.E. interview with tyro and kevin. In all i believe that the video, life in the music industry, was a great success. I believe that going to the show and actually getting some footage of what your claim was on was a very good thing, it took alot of initive to do that. The reasoning they used was pathos because it had to do with logical reasoning.

  21. I really liked this documentary. The claim was what working in the music industry is like. The evidence that supports the claim were the interviews they had done. They also had captured video footage of a few gigs of bands that have worked their way to sucess. They had dubstep which is a know techno group but not everyone knows who dubstep is. Pathos was used by showing the sucess of working in an inudstry. They also used logos to explain the difference between each person in the group and what importance they have to create the music they do. I really like this documentary it was very cool the way they put it together!

You didnt really have a claim but you informed people on the music industry. You guys did a great job and it was interesting how you guys got footage of the concerts you went to. It made your video stand out. I can tell you spent time on your video. You showed the different jobs of the music industry such as people who sell things in the concerts, to people who set up the stage. I think this is more logos because you informed people on the music industry with interviews and facts. I like how your video is different then the other videos people did. Once again good job!

Working in the music industry: A Critical Review
Life in the music industry is fast paced and requires a lot more than you would think. The claim of this video was to inform the audience about life in the music industry and its many jobs. There is of course the actual musican but there are other roles as well such as security gaurd, venders, etc. The evidence in this video is logos it gave a lot of facts to support their claim. The evidence of this video was solid facts, footage of the jobs being done, and the attendance of the actual concert. The reasoning that connected the evidence and the claim is the many interviews with two band members. Overall these video was very good. They could have done less rough transitions but overall, the finished product was very good. The footage at the concert was a good way to help it flow while being entertaining. This video showed the process it takes to get into the top postion of the music industry.

  24. This is poptart gone wild reporting about the life in the music industry. this video was pretty good. I liked the video inside the concert. It showed the people who worked in it. like the audio people, police officers and teeshirt sellers. Also the interviews of tyro were very educational. This was an example of ethos due to his reasoning and that he is an expert when it comes to dun step. He explaind wt dub step is. This video is very inspirational. It gave me hope that the future music industry will be great!

The documentary was awesome. With all the good information you added in the documentary, it grabbed my attention. The claim was to give out information to people on how working in the music industry helps them get support. The evidence was interviewing two people who made money at gigs they did and actual footage of the concerts and the workers. The reasoning was present because it was connected to the evidence and the claim. The type of evidence you had were ethos and logos. Logos because you you used great facts to support your claim. Ethos because you had credible sources by using the video camera to show actual footage of the concerts. Great job. I thought the light show was cool. I loved it how you added interesting facts.

I cant find the claim but i would think it was to expose the music industry. It was hard to find the claim so i just assumed. This documentary had evidence that supported the claim. It supported it by using actual footage of a concert. It used a little bit of reasoning to connect the evidence to the claim. The evidence used was logos in this video. The technology was used in a very affective way. it egaged me into this video very well. it was a very egaging video. Overal it was a very good video.

  27. This video was a great video that showed a good amount of pathos and ethos. This vid was interesting because of all the facts. And that no avarage pearson really knows what goes on behind the curtians. and i think the claim was that you can make a living off the music indusry and you could be a big band playing for mass crowds or you could be a small band playing for a group of people. you still get paid.

THe digital documetary about life in the music industry made the claim of, a living can be made in the music industry. The directors of the documentary did a fabulous job at showing the different lower income jobs involved in the concert scene and at glamorizing being an artist in this industry. They used logos by getting information of the salarys of the jobs presented by the video. They had great use of technology by getting alot of legit footage and had a variety of shots. I think this documentary deserves an OSCAR NOMINATION. to show young tallented music performers just entering the music industry, and just begining to start making a living, they used ethos by interviewing two young lads that make musical magic. I was engaged by the music styles represented in this documentary. They hit about every job i can think of that works to put on a concert at a venue. Great job fellas.

  29. This video was very well put together. the claim is not clearly stated in the video but it is easy to find out that it is talking about how making a living in the music industry can be acomplished with the right talets. it takes in veiws from different people and different kinds of music, going from live shows and explaining how everything is put together, to interveiwing artists about how music portains to their life and how being in the musical industry is a way to make money. By using support of many different jobs from the pyrotechnitions to the dj's, it shows that almost anyone no matter what their interest is, they can become involved in the music industry. this documentary was very well put together.

  30. The purpose of this documentary was to inform people about working in the music industry. For the evidence Jamie went to two different shows; a Lotus show and underground dubstep show and videotaped the industry. There were also facts presented in the show that was evidence and helped provide more information about the music industry. The reasoning in this documentary was the interviews. The interviews with performers were the reasoning and also provided more information about the music industry.. This entire documentary was well put together and used pathos by showing the fun someone would have while working in the music industry and also used logos to explain what each person did and the importance they held. It was a very interesting documentary that was well put together and was very informative.

  31. This Documentary didn’t state a clear and concise claim. If it were to have a claim it might have been the music industry is a successful entertainment business. The music industry keeps growing and growing. Roadies make anywhere from 600-2000 dollars a week and they also get to travel with the band. The reason why this is such a successful business is because the audiences loves the music and keeps coming back for more. The music industry also brings in dancers to help interpret there music and this adds on to the entertainment business. The technology used in this documentary was used very effectively. The graphics and editing on the video is good, the audio sounds good too. The documentary was very engaging because it actually takes you into the concert and shows you what its like. It is also polished and has very tiny and almost un noticeable errors except for not having a clear claim.

    $#!t like that

  32. The documentary, “Working in the Music Industry” by Jamie and Danny, was well put together, interesting and very entertaining. The video flowed wonderfully. The claim that making a living in the music industry is possible was clear and easy to identify. The evidence they used to support the claim was very visual. They used real life examples and the logos approach to show that people could make a living, like the band members and “roadies.” The video overall was very engaging. It was very creative and innovative how they went to shows and filmed actual people making a living. That reasoning really connected their evidence back to their claim. The audio and visuals in the video were clear and informative. I think the video was wonderful and that Jamie and Danny did an excellent job.

  33. This documentary is just showing what the music industry is about and how it comes together. It shows how many parts there are to just have one concert, with event staff, vendors, groupies and stage crew, pyrotechnics, lighting. The evidence of the people was their video showing how they do their job like the vendors selling t-shirts and the cops who were there to protect people. The video was cool because he had actual video of a concert and it was a good artist so it kept my attention and it was interesting to see how those concerts come together.

  34. This video was great it shows in depth how the music industry works. It points out how much time and effort it takes to bring just one concert together, and how without the event staff and the groupies the concert would never happen. The group did a good job on going above and beyound what was needed. They not only got all the required interveiws, but they also showed us the end result of all the hard work. The theme this video is centered on is on making a band they showed how it is making a living in the music industry is possible.

  35. This video shows the struggles that people don't usually to think about. The claim was clear and easy to understand. The actual claim was that its hard making a living in the music career. I thought the video was well put together nicely and ran smoothly. It shows how much time and planning it takes just to put a concert together. The fact that this group actually went to live concerts makes the claim easier to understand. The interviews that they had, let the viewers hear from the actual people what was going on.

  36. This video was the best in my opinion. The claim was not clearly stated but it was not hard to figure out. the claim was that people in the music industry are able to make a living off of what they do. Whether they play for a small group of people or play in front of a sold out stadium. The video was very entertaining and the music was awesome. I am glad that you guys did a documentary on this .

  37. This documentary was very fun to watch. It had many facts about the music industry. I liked how they went to concerts and filmed them. The claim of the video was that working in the music industry is exciting and fun. Their interviews, which was they evidence, were very interesting to watch. I think this documentary was logos because they had a lot of facts and opinions about working in the music industry. Overall this documentary was the most fun to watch and made me laugh. Good work.

  38. This video is well done and has a ton of interesting footage of the denver music scene. the only problem i found was that i could not identify a solid claim. but non the less the video was fun and i enjoyed it

  39. This video is well done and it shows how everything in the music industry comes together. It also shows how much work goes into preforming one comcert. From event staff to venders, groupies and stage crew. The interviews also backed this up. I enjoyed this video
