I thought this video was very good it held my attention and had a wonderful soundtrack. the only problem with this video was that some of the facts went by to fanst and i could not read them. other than that this video was fantastic with amazing interviews.
I thought this video was well put together with lots of good facts and good interviews. I think that the music helped to hold the attention of the people watching it. Though the problems with it are the fact that the facts by go by quickly, the transitions were a bit rough, and they only had two interviews instead of the three. Their claim was that gangs are having a bad effect on our society as a whole with the deaths and the graffiti. These gangs leave a lot of mess to be cleaned up. The evidence is the interview with the cop in the gang and the interview with the security gaurd Tom at Arvada West. The reasoning is the facts that tie the interviews with the claim. There is the statistics/facts that went between the interviews. It would have been better if they had slowed down the facts and allowed the audience to read it. The video was over all very well put together and gave an entertaining and informative documentary.
I liked the macbook edditing. The video had good info and wasn't boring. The music was better than an other vidoe in my opinion. It pulled everything together nicely.
I like the people they chose to interview they were very good selections. The music fit very well with the topic of the documentary also. Facts were clear and stated at the appropriate times of the documentary. Very weel put together and very clear and to the point. Nice job.
I really liked this video. It had good information and was really captivating. However some of the facts went by fast and the video had to be paused to be able to read. Other than then that this documentary was really good and the music went really well. The claim that gangs had a negative impact on society was well supported by the facts and reasoning through interviews. This documentary was well put together and was both interesting and informative.
this video was very well put together but once again it need a claim. it seemes more informative which there is no problem but it didnt seem to take a stance until the end when they interviewed th police offecer. that interview would have been better as an audio recording or as a real interview, it lost validity becasue it wasnt a live interview
this video was in my opinion very well put together and informative. the interviews were full of intelligent questions and answers were effective in giving you a better idea of gang life and gang activities. after watching this video i know more of gangs and understand that to ever think of joining a gang would be a very bad decision. transitions were good because of music and pictures, both of which help keep your attention.also the statistics given also help reiterate the fact that gang life is not good.
The whole movie was really good. The claim was that gangs were bad. It didn't take a stance until later but at least it had one. The evidence were the interviews that you had. The music tied in very well with the movie and the reasoning were the facts that supported the interviews. I really liked the transitions because of the facts that you put there in between, it made it seem like there wasn't that many facts when there actually were. Overall ti wass a really good video except that it was hard to read some of the stuff because it went by too fast.
I liked this video a lot because it was unique and it had a lot of pictures. The claim of, gangs are bad, was very well shown. The pictures added to the document were really well presented because the were kind of scary, so it made you not wasnt to become apart of a gang. Nice job! I also liked the background music, and the interviwes that you got. However, there could have maybe been more information added to it. Other than that, it was avery creative document and it caught my attention right from the beginning. Good job.
The claim presented in this documentary was that gangs do a lot of bad in a community. Evidence that was used to support this claim were interviews with Tom and Paul. The evidence was logos because of the facts and logical information given in the film. The documentary as a whole was good quality. The first interview was good, but gave little information about experiencing gang activity. The second interview was a group member and had a lot of information, but it would have been better if it hadn't been read from paper. The great parts were the slide transitions, music, and pictures, which helped make you feel more emotion towards the topic
i believe that the claim in this documentary is that gangs are a growing problem not only just in colorado, bu the united states. even though some of the transitions were a bit rough and the information that was displayed transfered too fast, this was a really interesting and well put together documentary. the information that was put on the slides were very informative and i was really suprised of how many facts they had.
kelsea griffith p-1 ms.Gurian 11-29-10 You guys had a good claim, that gangs are a problem. You guys had two interviews with tons of facts in them. The soundtrack went nice with your film. I think this is logos because it informs you on gangs. I can tell you spent time on your video. The pictures you put in your video added to the effect of your video. This video really made you think about the gang life. I think this is logos because it informs people about gangs and how gangs affect other people. You guys did a good job.
Kaleigh D. P.1 Ms.Gurian 11-29-10 The claim of this video was, gangs are an issue. The evidence that supports this claim were the interviews with the school security guard, and the interview at the end with the police. I also liked how your research supported your claim. The research also gave more information about gangs and how poeple get involved in them. You also used pictures as evidence of what gangs look like or what happens when yourin a gang. I think that this is logos because you guys had so much information on gangs and stated facts. I really liked the music in this video it fit the theme. Good job! :)

The video was very good. The video grabbed my attention the whole time. I liked it because it had unique pictures. The soundtrack fit perfectly with the video. Great job! The claim was that gangs are bad. The evidence was interviewing people, different types of gang pictures and statements. The evidence type is logos. One of the interviewees had said the reason why people joined gangs because they wanted to feel like they belong, something like family. The reasoning was connected to both the claim and the evidence.
The documentary about gangs mad the claim of gangs are bad and destructive. They supported this claim by giving information on the destrucion and problems created by gang related activity. They used good ethos and interviewed some reliable sources to help show authorities point of view on gangs. I feel that if the group would have interviewed an actual gang member, they could have solidified their point of gangs are bad by showing what gang members think is right and wrong, and comparing it to the police officer's points that they interviewed. I thought it was a good idea to re-inact the phone conversation since they couldn't get a face to face interview. The group used logos to give information about statitstics on gangs and they used graphic images to show how they dress and "rep their hood." The music choice fit the mood of the documentary and the vibes as well. It flowed well with the topic at hand. Overall it was a good use of technology and kept me entertained.
This documentry on gangs had a good claim about how gangs are destructive and bad. They interviewed several people all saying the the gang situation is a problem. I think they used ethos and pathos reasoning. Ethos because it had a very ethical appeal and logos because they used alot of facts to state their claim. They used graphic images to show how gang members dress and act. The soundtrack helped represent their claim by using music that gangs listen to. They made a very good statement in this documentry with their reasoning and claim. I think they could have had more interviews or more facts. Gangs by paul is a very good documentry.
The claim made in this documentary is that gangs are a growing problem in Colorado and spread violence and drugs across America. This claim is supported by the facts presented in the video, such as the fact that "19, 200 people are killed from gangs in Colorado each year" and that “Colorado has 110 gangs and 12,741 memebers.” The reasoning in this video is the interviews. In the interview with Tom, the seriousness of gangs was discussed and how gang members join gangs because they need a family or somewhere to belong. It was also talked about gangs are everywhere. This documentary mostly presented the ethos and pathos side of the story by explaining the consequences of having gangs and presenting the number of people who die or end up in jail due to gang activity. This documentary was well put together and the music, pictures, facts and interviews went well together and really proved the claim of gang activity being on the rise true.
The claim of this documentary is that gangs in Denver are growing and that gangs promote violence. Not only in Denver but all over America gangs spread followed by drugs. The group used ethos by engaging the viewer with the soundtrack and pictures of gang members. Also the renactment of the interview with a police officer was a good idea but would have better effect if the interview was taped. The documentary provided good facts on gangs in coloardo and how many are in the area. I wasnt suprised when Tom said he hadnt heard of much gang activity around the school or community. Logos was also used to support the topic with facts but I saw that 19,200 people die from colorado gangs a year and that there are 12,741 members. It is hard to believe that each memeber had killed 1 or 2 people even in Denver. On the other hand the video was edited with a good program but jumped around a lot with the transitions and titles that lasted a little too long. This video didnt flow as well as others but got me thinking about how much music influences gangs as do drugs and money.
This documentary held my attention very well, the music fit in really well with the topic. I enjoyed all the special effects they used in the video because it was edited on a Macbook. I think that this documentary was logos because there were a lot of facts and statistics throughout the video. Evidence that they provided were the two interviews, one of the security guard at A-west and the one with the cop. The claim of this documentary was that gangs have a negative effect on the world and cause death. The video helped illustrate what gangs look like and what they did. Overall the documentary was informative and very fun to watch.
This documentary about Gangs was great because it was well put out. The musice was great because one of the artist in one of those songz was 2puc. 2puc is a great person to look at becaue he was also engaged with gangs and lived a life of a gang member. The interviews showed the claim perfectly. The only thing this video didnt show was both sides of point of views even though some people not might agree with me, i thought it would be a great idea becuase everyone needs to know where these cholos (gang members) come from and understand why they do what they do. But other wise i really enjoyed this documentary! (ARIBA MI CHOLOS!! CUZ DATZ WHAT IT DO jaja)
